Hi, I’m Tawny.
I am a writer, a huge nerd, a corporate professional (on good days), and a lifelong explorer of my own inner world. I created this space as a safe corner of the internet where we can talk honestly about mental health, healing, burnout, self-doubt, and the small but powerful steps we take toward becoming who we’re meant to be.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, searching for motivation, or just trying to show up for yourself in quiet, consistent ways, you’re not alone here. I have had my fair share of battles with trauma, anxiety, depression, and most recently the possibility of ADHD showing up in my life, and am ready to share all of that, as well as what has helped me navigate it, with you.
This blog is where I share what I’m learning every day through books, online resources, therapy, and the ongoing work of shifting thought patterns that no longer serve me. My hope is that these reflections offer you support, validation, and the reminder that your journey is worth sharing.
Beyond this space, I also write and share on Medium, a platform that helps writers come together, and I spend my free time doing the things that help me feel most like myself: reading fantasy, enjoying anime, playing games, loving my dogs, and creating book-inspired merch for my Etsy shop.
I’m always seeking the balance between inner work and playful escape.
